    1. This book arrived today. I sat down and read it. I laughed out loud. These monologues explore why we eat, eat, eat when we know we're overdoing it.I'm an over 60 curmudgeon who has been fighting the Battle of the Bulge for a lifetime and I know the anguish of craving food even when I'm not hungry. The funniest line in the book: A salad lands on Frieda and she says, "What am I gonna do with a salad?!"Another funny line: "God made chocolated on the ninth day, he didn't say -- Let me go on a diet."Go [...]

    2. This is the second time I’ve been fortunate to have won a copy of this author’s plays. The first had been a collection of two one act plays in a book entitled “Spitting Daisies & Communicating through the Sunset.” The following review is my honest opinion of the book.Just as there is a different between reading prose [regular writing] and poetry, the same difference applies to reading plays. I find reading plays really forces me to use my imagination to envision what is happening on [...]

    3. An excellent play that tries to describe the relationships women have with food. I hope I get to see this live one day, because I imagine it would be very powerful. An excellent way to start the conversation about eating disorders and societal expectations.A deep play about the relationships women have with food.**I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.**

    4. I won this in a giveaway and am really pleased with my win. This was really interesting. The ideas about food and the characters were really well thought out. I enjoyed the play, but found it also thought provoking. I think this is valuable if looking at the issues we have around food and the beauty myth.

    5. I just got this book today and decided to read it. I didn't expect this to be an awesome read. It's hilarious, relatable and well-written. I'm so glad I read it. ^_^
