    3. "Getting to Mr. Right" by Carol Balawyder is a great contemporary novel. You might call it women's fiction, although you may not want to do so after reading one of the plotlines about literature in the book. It read initially like entertaining and witty chick lit when it began with the slow breakdown of a sexless marriage.
