    1. I really wanted to enjoy this. I have liked a lot of the other things that Clamp has written/illustrated, and for the most part I did like this. I enjoyed the illustrations, which were in most cases life like instead of cutesy. I also enjoyed the theme of the book, and felt that in view of the subject (love), Clamp had created a honest and real to life book. However I feel that there was too much going on for the length of the book. Many of the stories were very sweet and the characters were like [...]

    3. Bought this at the airport between flights because I'd forgotten to pack a book in my carry-on and I didn't want to play Pokemon for the next few hours. It's about as light and fluffy as I'd expected. Rereading it now, it's much the same. Still, maybe it's because of all that's happened since I first read it, I found it much sweeter. It's a quick read for a quiet day.I recommend it to those who need a little optimism, people interested in seeing others' views on women and relationships (particul [...]

    4. Quick thoughts: CLAMP is really hit or miss for me, but this was decent. Little glimpses of story ideas that take really quick looks at aspects of relationships, mostly relating to doubt. The essays after each 7-page story add some context. They'll be too short and insubstantial for a lot of readers, but I found them interesting.

    5. Um volume lindo e delicado, cheio de historinhas cotidianas, mas que contém certa verdade. Me emocionou, principalmente por me fazer pensar em situações pelas quais passei. E arte impecável né? Outra linda obra da Clamp.

    6. When I first purchased this manga, it was for the gorgeous artwork. I read the stories & really didn't like them. I'd contemplated returning it, but kept it since the artwork was so gorgeous & placed it on my bookshelf. There it sat for about a year until recently, when I wanted something quick to read. Upon re-reading it, I was enthralled by the stories & their characters. Unlike one or two of CLAMP's other works, the main characters are very human & likeable, even in their supr [...]

    7. The One I Love is a collection of twelve short stories all about love -- ranging from such topics such as marriage, long-distance relationships, age-differences, honesty and insecurity. At only half the thickness of a typical manga tankoubon, The One I Love may not seem like good value for money, but if you enjoy romantic feel-good shojo, you can't afford to miss this. The stories are short -- only seven pages each -- but each succinctly manages to sum up an idea in their brief pages, and each is [...]

    8. This is a collection of a dozen 7-page stories, followed by a little description of the inspiration by the author. The stories are about a girl's insecurities concerning relationships/love (with a male). While sometimes too simplistic, I found myself being able to relate with a lot, if not all, of the stories. I, however, still don't like the word "cute" unlike the protagonist in that "cute" story. :P But I can relate to wanting to look pretty for someone, wanting to be with them and feeling ins [...]

    9. this… was really bad. the book is comprised of several… you can’t even call them stories because they are all around 7 pages in length and go no where. they all hint at a possible story, but none of them actually puts in any time to create something worth reading. it’s more like a collection of possible love story ideas someone else could write about if they wanted to write a romance… but chances are that someone interested in writing a love story would already know about possible plot [...]

    11. A cute little anthology of short stories about love each followed by a short essay. Clamp really like writing little essays and articles about themselves and I've always enjoy reading them. I was really looking forward to reading The One I Love purchased from the App Store by the Viz Media Select series. I guess I can relate to some of the stories. In this manga, Clamp tries to analyze the components of love, such as "insecurity", "cute" , "happiness", and briefly talk about their experiences. I [...]

    12. The One I Love is a series of vignettes with a short message from the authors in between each story. The stories are based off of aspects of romantic love and relationships. The art is absolutely beautiful, and the stories are fairly enjoyable. However, it feels like a bunch of different short stories are just smashed together in an arrangement that doesn't necessarily flow well. It's a good way to spend a train ride or a short plane trip, but there's nothing truly remarkable or revolutionary ab [...]

    13. This is a short story collection in manga format and also in Japanese. This book has 12 short stories, all about different girls experiencing love in different ways. If I had read this when I was 14, and if it had been available in Swedish or English back then I would probably have loved it. As it is now, I found the stories too sugary sweet, too girly, and mainly too kawaii. Most horrible realisation of my reading life - Have I grown out of shojo manga? O_o I finally start to read CLAMP again a [...]

    14. This is another CLAMP manga and another variation on the traditional manga. In this case there are short regular-style manga stories but with several pages of comments and ideas associated with each one.>As is usual with CLAMP, the manga stories are done very well. From the back cover: "This unique and romantic 12-story anthology dives into the heart of the matter of insecurity and honesty, marriage and independence, and, of course, the single subject CLAMP seems to know best: love."That sums [...]

    16. This was a lovely book full of love stories. It was exactly what CLAMP set out to do, a bunch of short stories followed by essays on the story and their inspiration. I'm surprised to stay that I look forward to reading this one again. I wasn't expecting to like this so much. But I have always had a soft spot for light and fluffy.

    17. I don't recall much about the short tales except that they are all about teenage girls in love with teenage boys. There's one about a girl who bakes cookies, and another about a girl trying to pick the right outfit to meet her boyfriend and is thrown off track when it rains. They are just sweet tales with CLAMP's beautiful artwork, which heightens and enhances the stories.

    18. I really enjoyed this collection and related to a lot of the stories. I enjoyed their simplicity and how each story was clearly themed. In a way it made love seem pure and direct, which really appeals to me. Sometimes love is really complicated and its unavoidable and sometimes people make love unnecessarily complicated, and it was relaxing not having to think about these issues.

    19. This is a sweet collection of various love stories from the artists at CLAMP. It takes on different themes and some issues but since each story is really only a chapter long there isn't really that much depth or drama that goes into them. The artwork of course is the beautiful work that clamp is known for.Overall if you're looking for some short fluff stories you'll enjoy this book.

    20. this was cute and everything, but the reason i picked it up is because there are adorable kittens on the cover, and i assumed the stories would be about adorable kittensere is one story where a girl dreams that she is a cat. other than that, no adorable kittens appear. so don't say i didn't warn you.

    21. Pretty and neat artwork. That's what I like about CLAMP. And regarding this one I can't comment much about the content except that it's so girly. Yes, it consists of 12 (very) short stories about what we may found in a relationship: difference, anxiety, long distance, etc, and the main characters are all girls.

    22. Loved it.Sweet, kind of clichè most of the time, but that was exactly what made me enjoy it so much.I swear I had hearts shining on my eyes as I was reading!!!The way this book was made reminds me of characters from Sailor Moon and Sakura Card Captor, which made my "inner child" very happy!!!

    23. I'm a big fan of CLAMP and was intrigued to see a short story collection by them. Most of the stories were empty though. If you like romance, you may like this manga. Beyond that, it's not worth the read.

    24. Cuando conseguí éste libro gratis por entrar a un evento, pensé que iba ser una ñoñada pero le di una oportunidad y a veces me he sentido identificada con los problemas planteados por las protagonistas.

    25. A series of cutesy vignettes that revolve around the different feelings young girls can feel when it comes to love. It’s all light fluff and cuteness, but there are times when that’s all you need ^_^

    26. Sweet! A compilation of stories what a girl can think and do when they fall in love. Everyone who has someone special and truly care about can totally relate to these short stories. How I wish they had stories using the POV of the male :D"Things we do for love"

    27. This is a really sweet collection of short stories about love. With gorgeous CLAMP artwork, of course. Recommended for all teenage girls like me >_<
