1 thought on “Origin Season Two

    1. * I received an e-book copy from the author, and have given an honest review *Though the action isn't quite as intense as 'Origin Season One', make no mistake, it's just as thrilling. We also get a deeper insight into the characters this time around. Though listed as a sci-fi thriller, it's just SO believable, ( I can quite believe this alien craft could turn up right now)! and of course that's down to the talents of Nathaniel Dean James as a great writer. The only downside is having to wait unt [...]

    2. This eBook was provided by the author in exchange for an honest reviewThe ending of the first Origin book saw the arrival of an alien craft, RP One. Origin – Season Two sees the return of many familiar characters including Francis Moore, Mike Banner and Richelle as they begin to discover more about the alien craft. However things become problematic when Chinese agents kidnap new recruit, Jasper Klein. In rescuing him the team unearth a conspiracy involving China and North Korea that will great [...]

    3. A Riveting Story Delightfully ToldTaking a deep breath after the heart-rushing events of Season One, the Origin series settles in to a calmer (though more intriguing) narrative of what is actually going on here. The characters reveal themselves with more clarity along with events that not only define them but define the theme (and future direction) of the story itself.Written so well that you find yourself fallen through the words and sentences on the page and into the world of the story itself a [...]

    4. Origin season two is fast paced and full of action you will learn more about the alien spacecraft and the characters I highly recommended reading season one and two great story

    5. If you read and enjoyed "Origin Season One", then you're in for a real treat with Season Two If you haven't read Season One - why not?!I described Season One as "action packed" and "fast paced". Season Two continues with the action, keeps the pace at a "can't put this book down" level, and gives the reader more insight into (and a deeper connection to) the characters - particularly Francis, Mitch and Richelle.Nathaniel Dean James' writing style combine with the plot line to create something you [...]

    6. Origin Two returns to The Aurora and revisits Francis, Mike, Mitch, Richelle and the gang. The book doesn't have the breakneck pace nor the non-stop action of Season One, but there is still a lot going on. It does have a marked increase in science fiction. Where One was an action/adventure with some light sci-fi, Two is straight up science fiction with an international intrigue back story.Francis and Richelle are getting closer and closer to their inevitable relationship. Mitch and Heinz are lear [...]

    7. I would like to thank Nathaniel Dean James and Millennium Birdhouse for providing me with an electronic copy of this book to review. There is a marked change between Origin Season Two and its predecessor: the author delves more deeply into the science fiction aspects of this series. To be honest, I missed the suspense thriller aspects that were present in the first book, but Season Two is exciting in its own right. The unique way in which the author presents the book itself, namely the televisio [...]

    8. I received this book for free. I was not required to provide a review.Positives:1) It was an enjoyable read, and a good continuation of the story line.2) Definitely need to read the original book first, since that is where the original character development took place, and the background information for this book.3) Chapters were short, so it was easy to get just one or two chapters in if you did not have much time.4) Will continue reading the book in the series as they come out.7) Nice sci-fi t [...]

    9. I got this book from the Author in exchange for a review, which I am happy to provide. This is the second book of the Season and boy did it keep me at the edge of my seat. First off let me say you really need to read book One in order to fully understand what is going on and to truly enjoy it and the complex characters, which I love. Season Two provides a mini refresher course at the beginning of the book which I found super helpful, and then it was just a matter of finding enough time to read. [...]

    10. This book was just ok for me. It was enjoyable enough to keep me reading but not what I was expecting at all. It was more of a side story with bits of the original storyline smattered in. The original storyline did not progress much in this book and that's what pulled me into this series. What bits there were with Mitch and the gang were excellent and worth giving this a read.I do agree with one of the other reviews that this book was way less confusing than the first as far as keeping up with a [...]

    11. The Origins series is a "big picture" story with several involving subplots. It is highly recommended that you read them in order and close enough together that you can remember the multitude of characters and locations. I particularly enjoyed the alien technology and several of the central characters. Not all the plots are resolved in this book so presumably the story continues. Personally I could have done with a couple of diagrams for the more involved locations.

    12. Not really what I was expecting. I was hoping it would move more quickly to exploring the origin of 'Origin', but it is is obviously going to move much slower as a series than I was hoping. That said a good story but I think I will call it a day with this set of books now as I like mine to get to the nitty gritty a little more quickly than I expect this series will

    13. An excellent follow up to season one. A lot slower in pace, however this was made up for by more actual Sci-Fi content. That being said, it is not without its action and adventure. More of the story was aimed at what was possible from RP-one. Cannot wait for the next instalment now.

    14. Intense sci-fi thrillerEven better than the first. I really loved this one and cannot wait for more. This is one hell of a ride. The characters, banter and story are just getting better. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
