Dans ce court roman, on voit différentes personnes âgées, dont le docteur Erdmann du titre, subir de curieuses attaques cérébrales qui, à leur tour, déclenchent d'autres choses.J'ai été raisonnablement séduit par cette histoire qui, bien que raisonnablement simple, fournit cependant à l'auteur le moyen de mettre en scène des personnages d'une réalité, d'une densité particulièrement intéressante. Ci si dimentica che la narrazione è frutto di una mera invenzione, ci si crede come quando da bambini credevamo a Babbo Natale (io almeno sì).
