1 thought on “The New Adventures of Richard Knight

    1. (Full disclosure: I am a writer for other titles in Pro Se Press’ Pulp Obscura line.)Outside of a few cover illustrations floating around the web, I was completely unfamiliar with Richard Knight when I started to read The New Adventures of Richard Knight. The book opens with “Hell’s Hand” by Josh Reynolds. The story is a straight forward adventure tale set almost completely in the air. It’s a fun wild ride and a great way to start off any anthology. Barry Reese’s “Richard Knight an [...]

    2. A good fast summer read ( OK, it's September, but in the 70s ) about "pulp" adventures. This is a publication of "Pulp Obscura," which is bringing back to life the more obscure pulp heroes, such as in this one about Richard Knight, flying ace. There are six different stories by six different authors, all from 2012. In these stories, Knight has to battle Nazis and other monsters to keep America safe in the pre-WWII period. I particularly liked the story, "Fear from Above" by Frank Schildiner, in [...]

    3. Classic pulp at its finest. I loved the thrilling adventures of America's G-Man, Richard Knight. This extraordinary pilot brings two-fisted action right in your lap! Well done. Can't wait for the next in the series.

    4. Richard Knight was a pulp hero in the 1940s, now revived by the Pulp Obscura line with this anthology of new stories. The basic concept is a simple one and adequately explaining in the introduction: rich playboy Richard Knight is secretly top spy Q, an ace pilot with a secret identity. The supporting cast are also given a reasonable role; he is assisted by his partner the plain and honest Larry Doyle and his superior General Brett while a romance interest is provided by Brett's ward Benita. Real [...]

    5. This is a wonderful book full of adventure, romance, and fast paced action. If you want a read that is sure to get your heart pounding and send you on wild adventures then Richard Knight is the hero that can get you there!

    6. Great stuff in the plup tradition, with some good stories and some great ones. If you;re a fan of the genre this is for you.[NB: I omit the story I wrote in this from my comments, since that's not for me to judge]
