1 thought on “Tales from Herodotus (Greek Texts)

    1. Mainly deals with the historical confrontations between the Kingdom of Persia (at its greatest strength) and the various Greek states, Athens, Sparta, etcTotally worth the read if you enjoy Greek History

    2. very short, but perfect for the bus. I really would to read annotated and mapped editions that helps me place the peoples, time and locations of the stories.

    3. Brilliant to give a sense of a different time and world. Grand, matter of fact, learned, detailed and funny. These were fun to dip into.
